摘　　要：现代服务产业是城市经济系统发挥整体功能的一个不可或缺的重要组成部分,发达的服务业是城市内部正常运转、产业结构产生巨大系统效益的重要前提。随着经济全球化和信息资源进入现代主流经济,服务业将发展成为城市最大的、最具活力的产业部门。因此,研究现代服务业的有关理论以及认识其在城市经济发展的地位与作用是十分必要的。本文以大连市为例,对上述问题进行研究探讨。The modem service industry is an indispensable important constituent of urban economy system. The developed .service industry is the premise that makes the city interior system work and benefit to the industrial structure. Along with the economical globalizafion and the information resource entering the modem mainstream economy, service industry will become the biggest and the most energetic industrial department of the city. Therefore, it is extremely essential to research modem service industry theory as well as to know its status and the function in the urban economy development. The author take Dalian as an example to re,arch the above questions.
