Objective To discover the endangem from the residues toward the human bodies by measureing the varieties of formaldehyde and chloromycetin residues in the seahorse bodies, and to provide a reference for the safety uses of Chinese medicin from the residues toward the human bodies and provide a reference for the safety uses of Chinese medicine. Method The normal regulations method was carried on a medicine bath to the seahorse in laboratory, the residues of formaldehyde and chloromycet in the dry and steeped seahome bodies was measured. Result The chloromycetin residues reduced slowly in the seahorse bodies.74.5% of chloromycetin residued in seahorse bodies after stopping medicine bath for 5 day. Chloromycetin in the bodies hardly lose after drying program. After stopping medicine bath for 5 days, 96.0% chloromycet residued in the seahorse bodies through dipping in water for 30 days. 71.2% of formaldehyde in the seahorse bodies residued after stopping medicine bath for 1 day,51.7% of formaidehyde in seahorse bodies residued after stopping medicine bath for 3 days. After dipping in water for 30 days,87.30% of for maldehyde residued in the seahorse bodies. Conclusion formaldehyde and chloromycetin remains at a high leave for a longer time in seahorse bodies ,which showed that remains of monster medicine had latent bane to the human bodies in the usage of Chinese herbal medicine.
