摘　　要：The construction starting and contract signing ceremony for a pilot 1000-kV UHVAC transmission line project was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi on April 26. On the ceremony, the vice governor, Jin Shanzhong expressed that Shanxi provincial government will vigorously and consistently support the construction of power grid.
