报刊与人的现代化——以抗战前十年苏州为例

摘　　要：人的现代化是影响传统社会向现代社会转型的关键因素之一。在人的现代化过程中,以报刊为主要形式的大众传媒对之发挥了极其重要的促进作用。文章以抗战前十年苏州的报刊业发展状况及其对苏州"人的现代化"的作用为蓝本,对大众传媒之于"人的现代化"的作用作了细致的分析。The individual modernization is a key factor in transforming the traditional society to modern society. The mass media, mainly in form of the newspapers and periodicals, plays an important role during the process of individual modernization. Based on the development status of the press industry and the function of ＂individual modernization＂ in Suzhou area in the decade before the War of Resistance Against Japan, the paper conducts a detailed study of the function of mass media to the ＂individal modernization＂.
