摘　　要：建筑防火是消防科学技术的一个重要领域，而防火涂料又是防火建筑材料中的重要组成部分，按用途和使用对象的不同可分为：饰面型防火涂料、电缆防火涂料、钢结构防火涂料、预应力混凝土楼板防火涂料等。中国防火涂料的发展较国外工业发达国家晚15—20年，但发展速度较快。尤其是钢结构防火涂料，品种类型、技术性能、应用效果和标准化程度已接近或达到国际先进水平。近几年，其需求量成倍增长，这与钢结构建筑的迅速发展是分不开的。Architectural fire prevention is an important field in the fire science and architectural fire retardant coating is one of the significant parts in the architectural fire retardant materials.Fire retardant coating is a type of coating which is painted on the surface of an object to prevent fire from occurring and spreading,isolate the fire,prolong the base material＇s fire enduring time or improve the thermal insulation.The development of Chinese fire retardant coating lags for 15-20 years behind the foreign developed nations.However,the development is relatively speedy.
