摘 要:近几十年日益加重的荒漠化已成为内蒙古乃至中国和邻国如韩国、日本的非常严重的环境问题。通过EOS-MODIS遥感数据计算出归一化植被指数(NDVI)和植被覆盖指数(PV),反演求得荒漠化指数(DI)对内蒙古地区进行荒漠化地区的识别,根据像元数进行统计各种类型的面积。最后我们运用该方法对内蒙古荒漠化进行监测,研究表明可以准确的得到该研究区荒漠化现状分布,同时根据像元统计可以得到荒漠化面积每年以2.2%的速率增大。荒漠化地区的荒漠化程度同样以每年10%的速度加重。结合气象观测的气温和降水数据分析,表明该方法对于荒漠化的监测是可行的,准确性也较高。The increasingly severe desertification in recent decades has been an important environmental problem for China and also adjacent countries such as Korea and Japan. EOS-MODIS data were applied to evaluate the severity of desertification in Inner Mongolia. A methodology has been proposed to use the red band and near infrared band of MODIS for monitoring/evaluating the desertification on the basis of surface vegetation changes. The vegetation coverage index (VCI) in pixel scale was calculated from normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), and then applied it to construct the desertification index (DI) for evaluation of desertification severity. Result from validation with rainfall and temperature data indicated that accuracy of the methodology is acceptable and applicable for desertification severity evaluation. Finally the proposed methodology is applied to the study region of Inner Mongolia for evaluation of desertification severity. The results can best represent the actual status of current desertification in the region. Therefore, it can be conclude that the proposed methodology is feasible for desertification monitoring in Inner Mongolia.
