摘  要:A major evil of capitalist society denounced by Marx, Lukacs, Adorno, Horkheimer and Marcuse, reification developed as a concept thanks to theA major evil of capitalist society denounced by Marx, Lukacs, Adorno, Horkheimer and Marcuse, reification developed as a concept thanks to the work done by Lukacs on the basis of Marx's concepts of “commodity fetishism” and alienation. It refers specifically to how relationships between one human being and another take the form of relationships between things in capitalist commodity society.
