摘  要:Calmodulin (CaM) can activate several CaM-dependent-enzymes in the presence ofCa2+. The activative effect of CaM on lactate dehydrogenase (LDH, EC 1. 1. 1. 27) was studied.LDH was purified from bovine heart and CaM from bovine brain, respectively. Based on its activation of LDH by CaM, a quantitative assay of CaM was developed. Results of kinetic study showthat this activation belongs to "non-competitive activation".Calmodulin (CaM) can activate several CaM-dependent-enzymes in the presence ofCa2+.
