摘　　要：绘画中的线是客观物象在画家头脑中的认识、提炼、概括的精神产物。文字与绘画都是线的延续和发展。由于不同的文化观念形成了东西方对于线的不同认识、理解和应用。线生存在艺术家的作品之中,体现着画家的个性风格。The line in painting is the reflection of the understanding, refining and generalization of objective things in painter＇ s mind. The character and painting are the extension of line. The paper discusses the differences in understanding and application of line in different cultures.
