摘　　要：讨论了开原-赤峰断裂两侧地震序列活动的差异问题,认为在地震趋势预测研究中应该将辽宁南部和开原-赤峰断裂以北地区分开考虑更为合适,海城和岫岩应用前震序列进行主震预测的经验不能适用于东北北部地区。The difference of the earthquake sequences activity on the both sides of Kaiyuan-Chifeng fault was discussed in this paper. It was considered that the earthquake sequence activity of the southern part of Liaoning province and Northern part of kaiyelan-chifeng fault should be seperately discussed in the earthquake tedency prediction. The experience applying the fore-shock squance to predict Haicheng, Xiuyan earthquake wasn＇t suitable for the Northern part of the Northeast area in China.
