摘　　要：我国汽车工业的快速发展，使得汽车水上运输成为航运和汽车制造业关注的焦点，也为我国造船业发展汽车运输船（以下简称汽车船）带来契机。本文在对汽车船特点、发展历程，国际、国内市场需求以及建造格局、特点进行分析的基础上，提出我国应当尽快建造一支相当规模的汽车船队，我国船舶工业应将汽车船列为研发和建造的重点船型。The rapid growth of China＇s automobile industry has made the development of automobile transportation by water a focusing point for the shipping and automobile manufacturing sectors, and brought opportunities for developing automobile carriers by shipbuilding industry. This article recommends that China should build as soon as possible a fleet of automobile carriers of a fairly large scale and China＇s shipbuilding industry shall make automobile carrier one of the key ship types for development and construction.
