明代边防预警机制探略

摘　　要：明代边防一直遵循着"守备为本"的方针,逐步建起了以哨探为基础,以传烽为主要预警方式,以截击与应援为保障的边防预警机制。边防预警不仅使沿边守军在敌人入侵时处于临战状态,减少了措手不及的被动,也为边军进行有针对性的军事部署赢得一定时间,同时对保护沿边地区百姓生命财产安全也有积极意义。With observing the ＂garrison-eentred＂prineiple, the Ming government established a frontier earlywarning mechanism in which the sentry post was taken as the basis;beacon, the main early-warning way;and intereeption and aids, the guarantee. When invaded, this mechanism made gerrison force combat-ready and took the initiative. Furthermore, it could gain time for the military disposition of the frontier force. Meanwhile, it was of positive significance to safeguarding the life and property of the people along the border.
