摘 要:Since mutual coupling between elements always degrades the array processing performance, a semiblind calibration method is presented for such kind of model error in CDMA communications systems. The proposed method first supposes that the Mutual coupling coefficients (MCCs) with smaller amplitudes can be obtained from the measured or calculated data as a prior knowledge. Then based on processing the covariance matrix of the post-PN signal vector, the other coupling coefficients and Direction-of-arrivals (DOAs) of the desired users can be estimated simultaneously. Thus, mutual coupling effect can easily be eliminated with matrix compensation technique. Next, to verify the effect of mutual coupling and the validity of new method~ analytical performance expressions for CDMA system with smart antennas are also derived, where both the Multiple access interference (MAI) and the Co-channel interference (CCI) are considered. Finally, computer simulations show the potential usefulness of the proposed calibration method with the performance analysis results.
