摘　　要：芬兰的建筑历来顺风顺水、与众不同、对外界有抵触情绪，并显得比现代主义的运行曲线稍慢半个节奏。在芬兰，人们总会发现一些不合时宜的建筑师，但他们却荒谬地与一般人属于同一个时代。阿尔托是其中的一个，莱玛·比尔蒂拉也是一个，近年来尤哈·莱维斯盖也晋升到了这样一种文化地位，而耶基·塔沙也可以被加入到这样的行列。Because Finnish Architecture has always been fortunate, curious and resistant, a little behind the curve of Modernism there are always some architects out of time yet paradoxically contemporary. Aalto was one such architect Reima Pietila another and more recently Juha geiviska has been elevated to such a cultural position. Jyrki Tasa can be put in this company. Prepared to swerve from the tight norms at work in Finnish Modernism Tasa＇s early works have all the panache invention and tectonic finesse of later ones. Speaking to Tasa would confirm the necessity for cunning： it is merely a matter of patience and tolerance, of waiting until the world turns and Finland turns with it. Architectural juries work this way too. Tasa himself has been on many of them to know the problematics of change and acceptance. An international architect who is local, speaks little English, talks less yet has to lecture Tasa is an architect who remains ＇at homet in world architecture. His current free-form is no instant response to the trends of digital software architecture of snake architecture or liquid shapes. Rather recent projects like the Moby Dick House outside Helsinki - a white whale of a building - is only a further development of a free spirit more akin to the awkward brilliance of Alvar Aalto and the quiet cussedness of Reima Pietila than the conformist position taken by many more well-known Finnish architects.
