含碳气氛对表面传导电子发射显示器发射性能的影响

摘  要:采用实验的方法,研究了含碳气氛下表面传导电子发射显示器(SED)的电子发射性能。通过测量和比较普通真空环境与含碳气氛下电子发射的特性参数发现,通入含碳气氛能明显提高电子发射性能,器件电流If和发射电流Ie的值在通入含碳气氛后明显改变,表面传导电子发射效率ρ也明显提高。By introducing a carbon atmoshere, the electron emission characteristics of a surface-conduction electron emitter display(SED) are studied experimentally. After comparing the experimental data of SEE} obtained under a vacuum environment with the data obtained under a carbon atmosphere,it has been found that a carbon atmosphere has significantly improved the electron emission characteristics. As a result,the current values of both the device current if and the emission current Ic. have obviously improved as well as the efficiecy of surface conduction electron emission has increaed significantly.
