摘　　要：竞争情报与知识服务将是未来图书馆先进服务手段的具体体现,高校图书馆要增强图书馆的服务能力和服务质量,有必要就竞争情报和知识服务的社会功能进行分析。Competitive Intelligence and knowledge service will be the embodiment of the advanced service means in the future libraries, and the function of the university libraries will be embodied in the library service abilty and service guality. The paper mainly anlayzes the social functions of the competitive intelligence and the knowledge service.
