摘　　要：数据库性能的好坏直接影响医院信息系统的正常运转。通过对ORACLE索引的系统研究,从索引设置及使用等方面阐明了如何正确地使用索引,以提高数据库性能。The performance of Oracle database directly affects the running of hospital information system. Through the systematic study of Oracle index, this paper elucidates how to correctly use the index including the setting and using of Oracle index.
