摘　　要：新文化史运动是20世纪最后20年中西方史学主要的研究趋势,也是整个西方史学长河中的一段重要篇章。美国历史学家林.亨特是这一运动的主要倡导者和领导者之一,她本人不仅在法国大革命史研究领域积极实践新文化史的研究主张,更是先后主编了两部重要的新文化史理论文集——《新文化史》(1989年)及《超越文化转向》(1999年),从而确立起了新文化史最基本的研究范畴与规范。The New Cultural History is the main trend of the western historiography in the last two decades of the twentieth century,and also is a significant epoch in the whole history of western historiography.Lynn Avery Hunt,the American historian,is one of the advocates and leaders of this movement.She has practiced the NCH methodologically in her own field,the history of the French Revolution.Moreover,she is the editor of two most important books on the theories and practices of the NCH,The New Cultural History(1989)and Beyond the Cultural Turn(1999).Both books fundamentally set the category of NCH and put it on the agenda of historians.
