摘 要:The direct photon is a good electromagnetic probe for earlier dynamics and QGP formation in relativistic heavy-ion collisions, because the direct photon is produced mainly in the earlier stageThe direct photon is a good electromagnetic probe for earlier dynamics and QGP formation in relativistic heavy-ion collisions, because the direct photon is produced mainly in the earlier stage of collision and it suffers very weak interaction later on. Therefore, it plays a special role in the judgment of whether the high/~r suppression is an initial or final state effect. Because of the extremely strong decay photon contamination it is very hard to identify the direct photon signal.
