摘 要:Urotensin-Ⅱ is the most potent vasoconstrictor peptide ever identified.A great number of studies about hemodynamics of urotensin-Ⅱ were reported.Recently,many researches have demonstrated that urotensin-Ⅱ also has nonhemodynamic effects,such as mitogenic action,stimulating cell proliferation,promoting extracellular matrix production and so on.Nonhemodynamic effects of urotensin-Ⅱ may play a role in the pathogenesis of some diseases.Urotensin -Ⅱ is the most potent vasoconstrictor peptide ever identified.
