摘　　要：埃德加.斯诺所著《西行漫记》一书出版后,很快就在国际社会产生了重大影响,为国内外的中国苏区研究提供了翔实的史料及思想观念。斯诺在书中揭示和阐释了红色中国存在和发展壮大的必然性,中国革命胜利的源泉在于民众,以及中国共产党方针政策的正确性等史学思想,从而得出中国共产党和中国革命是顺应历史发展趋势的进步力量的结论,改变了国际社会对中国共产党领导的苏区革命斗争的看法,也影响了美国政府在世界反法西斯战争中的远东战略决策,这对中美两国关系的发展以及对后来美国中国学的研究都产生了深远的影响。Immediately after Red Star over China written by Edgar Snow was published,it had a great influence on international society and provided ideology and historical materials in detail for the study of the Soviet Area in China. Snow threw light on and explained in the book the historical thinking of historical necessity of the existence of Red China and its development, the success of Chinese Revolution lying in the masses, the correctness of CPC＇ s policy and guideline and came to the conclusion that the Community Party of China and Chinese revolution went in the right direction of the development of history, changed the way how the world looked at the revolution in the Soviet Area led by the Communist Party of China, influenced the United States in the Far - East strategic decision concerning the Anti- Fascism War,which had a far- reaching influence on Sino -Us relation and the later China study in America.
