摘　　要：对东部欠发达地区的特征、原因进行分析和研究，不仅有助于这些地区经济早日腾飞，对中西部地区的开发与发展也会有较大的参考价值。本文以河北省沧州市为例，分析了东部欠发达地区的特征和原因。There are gaps that can be observed not only between the East and West Areas, but also in both areas themselves; and the gap of the later may be even wider than that of the former. This paper is focusing on the features and reasons in the poor areas in the east developed region of China by studying the case of Cangzhou city, Hebei province; and trying to figure out a suitable policies for proceeding the economic growth.
