摘　　要：基于地理信息系统(GIS)技术建立"巢湖流域的考古地理信息系统",为考古发掘、研究以及文化遗产保护提供了一种数字化的手段与方法。建立了考古信息系统的属性数据库和空间数据库,并详细地介绍了数据的采集与处理、空间查询与检索、空间模拟与分析、知识获取与空间决策支持等主要功能及其研究与实现的途径。ChaoHu Basin Archaeological GIS was constructed based on GIS technology to provide digital means and methodology for archaeological investigation and research, and protection of cultural heritage. It constructed the attribute database and Geodatabase of archaeological information system. This paper introduced the main functions, study and research approach, such as data collecting and processing, spatial query and search, spatial simulation and analysis, knowledge acquisition and spatial decision support, etc.
