驳“司马迁‘心折长卿之至’”论

摘　　要：《史记·司马相如列传》是司马迁笔下一篇较为特殊的文章。作者的叙事较少,而传主的文赋却选录极多。前人认为这是由于子长极为喜爱相如文赋所致,但从全篇的行文结构、作者对司马相如的评价及该文与《屈原贾谊列传》比较阅读而言,实非如此。司马迁选录相如的文赋,并非是欣赏其中雍容华丽的辞章的表层形式,而是结构全文的需要,也是借他人之文抒发自己的政治主张;对于司马相如本人,司马迁在字里行间透露了中肯但并不褒扬的客观态度,并不是"心折长卿之至"一语所能道尽。Historical Records ＊ The Biography ofSima Xiangru is a special article in all of Sima Qian＇ s works. In this article, the writer used a little narration but many odes of Sima Xiangru. Many people thought that the reason was the writer liked Xiangru＇s odes. But we can see that it is not real from the structure of this article, the writer＇s evaluation of Sima Xiangru and the comparison between this article and The Biography of Qu Yuan and Jia Yi. The reason of Sima Qian quoting Sima Xiangru＇s odes is not that he appreciated them, but the article＇s structure needs them and he could express his political views through them. Sima Qian＇ s objective but not praiseable attitude toward Sima Xiangru couldn＇t simply be expressed from ＂Sima Qian Appreciated Chang Qing＂.
