摘　　要：According to aesthetics of reception, the reception of literature can be divided into two patterns, that is, vertical reception and horizontal reception. The former means determining the original text＇s meaning from the perspective of historical development. Readers in different history periods have different explanations and conclusions of certain writer or original text because of their different social and cultural backgrounds. The author of this thesis combines the viewpoint and the translation of famous book, holding that famous book has special aesthetical value and its explanation shouldn＇t be limited by certain translated version. Retranslation can keep and enrich the aesthetical value of the famous book and should be encouraged.接受美学认为，文学接受可以划分为垂直接受和水平接受两种形式。其中，所谓垂直接受，即指从历史嬗遁的角度确定的文学本文的接受，评价的状况。不同时代的读者由于各自的社会形态和文化背景各异，必然引致对特定作家、文学本文不尽相同的阐释和结论。本文将接受美学的这一观点与文学名着的翻译结合起来，认为名着有其独特的审美价值，不愿受某一历史时期阐释水平的局限，名着重译能保存和丰富其内在的审美价值，因此应得到提倡。
