摘 要:提出了一种新的基于单幅眼睛图像的视线计算方法。通过假定两眼的视线向量以及左右虹膜中心点组成的向量共面,可以计算得到两眼的视线方向。与现有的三维视线计算方法相比,提出的视线计算方法不需要眼角坐标等脸部特征信息,另外也不需要已知相机的焦距大小。可以允许相机的焦距大小以及与用户的距离自由改变。最后实验的结果也比较理想,充分证明了提出的视线计算方法的可行性。This paper presents a novel approach to estimate the human's eye gaze from a single image of two eyes.By assuming that the two gaze vectors of both eyes and the vector which is determined by the two centers of the right and left iris are coplanar,from which we can calculate both the eye gaze.Compared to most existing 3-D gaze estimation algorithms,this approach does not require those of face feature information such as the eye corners.And it does not need to know the exact focal length of the camera.This is a very useful feature because it allows one to use a zoom lens and to change the zooming factor whenever he or she likes.It also gives one more freedom of the camera setting with respect to the distance between the user and the camera.The extensive experiments over simulated images and real images demonstrate the feasibility and the effectiveness of the method.
