摘 要:为了提高连续相位调制(CPM)方式下卫星通信系统发射功率的利用效率,提出了一种变指数连续相位调制系统方案。利用调制指数对CPM欧氏距离影响的原理,通过指数同步协议使用户终端的调制指数动态适应雨衰,从而达到尽可能利用发射功率的目的。对基于4进制2指数线性映射全响应CPM的具体设计方案的仿真表明:变指数CPM相对于传统的CPM具有更好的功率和带宽效率;在恶劣气候条件下,具有更好的连续通信能力。The single-h and multi-h CPM(continuous phose modulation) have been paid much attention because of some of their good performance, but how to make use of the alteration of modulation index (single-h) or index group (multi-h) to improve power efficiency has never been studied in open literatures. In context, a scheme of alterable modulation index CPM (abbreviated as AHCPM) system was introduced, with which the power of satellite communication system could be utilized much better. This system was based on the principle that modulation index could influence the euclidean distance of CPM, and made different user terminals dynamically change modulation index or index group at the same time according to rain fade by index synchronization protocol. By simulating, the conclusion was drawn that AHCPM can gain more data throughput or power efficiency, and has better ability of continuous communication than the traditional CPM.
