摘 要:陶瓷结合剂绿碳化硅磨具在氧化气氛烧成时会呈红色或有红色斑点,严重影响产品的外观质量。本文主要是在氧化气氛烧成条件下从绿碳化硅磨具的原材料方面入手,通过对5种结合剂制成的绿碳化硅磨具进行呈色实验和强度实验,来探讨磨料及结合剂的化学成分、结合剂的耐火度对碳化硅磨具色泽的影响,分析了消除或减轻磨具发红或出现红色斑点的原因。主要结论为:在氧化气氛烧成下绿碳化硅磨具会呈红色或有红色斑点,它是由磨料中的铁质及铁化物(Fe3C)造成的。在结合剂中加入一定量的滑石粉、石英粉或硼玻璃,能消除或减轻其磨具发红或出现红色斑点,但它们的加入对磨具的强度有影响。提高同种结合剂的耐火度也能消除或减轻磨具发红或出现红色斑点。Vitrified SiC abrasive articles sometimes turn red or show red spot on the surface when firing in oxidizing atmosphere, which seriously affects the surface quality of the products. In this paper, the effects of abrasive grains,chemical composition of the binder and refractoriness of binder are studied using green SiC and five types of binder as starting material through the experiment of measuring the color and strength. The way to eliminate or alleviate red or red spot on the surface are found. The results show that green SiC abrasives can exhibit red or have red spot when firing in oxidizing atmosphere due to Fe and Fe3C in the abrasive. Appropriate talc powder, silica powder and boron glass adding into the binder can eliminate or alleviate red or red spot on the surface but the addition of talc powder, silica powder and boron glass can affect the strength of the abrasives; increasing the refractoriness of the same binder can eliminate or alleviate red or red spot on the surface.
