Objective To explore the influence of social-psychological factors upon the patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) and to put forward the countermeasures. In FD patients, their nervousness scores was positive correlation with their SDS, SAS, LES scores (P 〈 0.01). The scores of subjective support of FD patients were significantly higher than that of the persons who did not suffer FD (P 〈 0.01), while the utilization ratio of support of the former was significantly lower than that of the latter (P 0.01). Conclusions FD patients have the personalities of introversion, nervousness, anxiety and depression, which are relative with negative life events, thus they need more supports from the society.
