摘　　要：内蒙古大学白拉都其格教授就大蒙古国建立800周年(1206-2006年)答法新社记者问值得一读。白教授的答问使我们看到成吉思汗及其帝国在中国和世界历史上的地位、作用和影响,它的开放性、包容性和创新性也是中国历朝历代和世界上很独特的。同时,白教授就如何研究成吉思汗这一世界级历史人物和蒙古大帝国所形成的国际性学科应具备的学术素养和学术视野的看法同样值得我们借鉴。Note As for the 800th anniversary of the Mongol Empire （from 1206 to 2006） , Professor Bailaduqige from Inner Mongolia University answers the questions raised by the reporters from Agence France Presse and the answers are worth reading. His answers help us understand Genghis Khan and his empire＇ s position, function and influence in both Chinese and world history. As far as its open and tolerant and innovative properties are concerned, the empire is unique among all dynasties in China and in the world. In the meantime, Prof. Bai＇ s ideas about the academic research ability and scientific visions necessary for the study of the world - class historical figure Genghis Khan and the formation of the empire are similarly useful for us to learn from.
