摘　　要：构建社会主义和谐社会是一个复杂的系统工程。大学在国家建设和发展中处于特殊重要的地位,要在培养高素质人才、加强科学研究、提升社会服务、建设和谐大学方面认真履行自己的社会责任,努力为建构和谐社会提供人才、智力、环境和样本支撑。The construction of a socialist harmonious society is a complicated engineering system. Universities are very important in the development of national construction. It should bear the social responsibilities, such as cultivating talents, strengthening scientific researches, improving service for the society and creating a harmonious environment for the society.
