摘　　要：窗在建筑设计中有着十分重要的地位,它既要满足建筑的基本功能的需求,也要满足人们的审美要求。最初的窗只是墙上通风采光的"洞",但随着现代建筑的发展,科技的进步以及新型材料的发明和结构的更新,使得窗在形式和功能等方面都发生了重大变化。当今,窗不仅功能更加合理,并且在形式、节能、构造上也更加完善。生态和高科技结合已经成为今后窗的发展趋势,窗也将更加千变万化。Windows are playing a very important role in the building designs as they meet the requirements of building＇s basic functions and cater into human being＇s aesthetics as well. Foremost, the primordial windows were merely ＂orifices＂ on the wall for daylight and ventilation. Nevertheless, with the development of modern building, invention of new materials and renovation of structures, people have witnessed tremendous changes in windows＇ patterns, structures etc. Nowadays, the functions of windows are more practical and the patterns, structures and power conservation more improved. The perfect combination of ecology and hi-tech has become the trend for the future development of windows, by which we would see more various kinds of windows.
