摘　　要：通过对武汉大学图书馆实施微机管理３年来的实际调查。The management of the computer-bassed open-shelf circulation system used in Wuhan University Library in recent three years is investigated, and the advantages and disadvantages of the system are discussed. This article is divided into four parts. Part one is analyses the library's circulation work without computers. Part two describes the new changes and characteristics in the circulation work after introducing the system. Part three describes the difficulties arising from the system and the appropriate measures that should be taken. Part four summarizes the whole paper and shows us the prospects of the system.
