摘　　要：首先分析了ＩＰ协议和ＩＥＥＥ８０２局域网规程分别与ＡＴＭ（异步转移模式）技术的特性，并对它们进行了比较。Both analysis and comparisons of IP protocols,IEEE 802 LAN (Local Area Networks) protocols,and the characters of ATM (Asychronous Transfer Mode) technology are presented.LAN emulation and ATM technology based on traditional IP protocols released by International Standard Organization and ATM forum are analysed and discussed in detail.
