摘　　要：程懋筠是一位被海峡两岸都“边缘化”了的音乐家。 在海峡彼岸的台湾，虽然他曾为“革命的先行者”孙中山先生“黄埔训词”谱曲，在1929年被核定为国民党“党歌”，后又被定为“代国歌”、“国歌”。一时名噪朝野，但是，他一直不肯加入国民党。1949年，朋友安排好他赴台湾事宜，最后时刻他选择留在了大陆。Cheng Maoyun is a'marginalized'musician by both sides of the Straits. Over 70 years ago,when Chinese Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China jointly fought against the war of Japanese imperialist's aggression a- gainst China,the Anti-Japanese War became a national cause.Cheng Maoyun explicitly asserted at that time that'musical art should be used to re- vivify the national spirit so that the Anti-Japanese War could be a victory.'He also led the Promoting Music Education Committee of Jiangxi Province to publicize the Anti-Japanese War in extremely tough environment and accom- plished outstanding achievement.Today,when people cross-Straits look back on the history,they will notice that a musician who shouldn't have been for- gotten was out of their mind.Cheng Maoyun shouldn't have been marginal- ized,on the contrary,he ought to have his niche in Chinese modem and contemporary music history. Cheng Maoyun (b.1900—d.1957) was born in Datang Village,Xinjian County,Jiangxi Province.He went to Japan in 1918.In 1921,he was en- rolled in Dongyang Conservatory majoring in vocality and composition. Renowned musicologist Tanabe Hisao called him'A Special Student'.In the summer of 1926,he returned to China and became a music teacher in Nan- chang No.1 Middle School,No.2 Middle School as wall as Jiangxi Normal School.In the same year,he married Ms.Xu Wenhun (b.1905-d.1993) who graduated from Jiangxi Girls Normal School and they had a boy and a girl later on.In May,1928,he became the dean and associate professor of the Arts Branch of the Arts Department (which had Arts Branch and Arts Ed- ucation Branch),Education College,National Central University (in Nanjing). Since 1930,he had taught in Hangzhou Xianghu Normal School.In March, 1933,he became the commissioner of the Promoting Music Education Com- mittee of Jiangxi Province (PMEC),which established the achievement of his lifelong musical cause.In 1939,he married Ms.Zhang Yongzhen (b.1914- d.1992) and they had 2 boys and 2 girls later on.Since 1946,he had taught in Shangh
