摘　　要：图书馆学科对市民社会的研究是一种新的理论探讨,之所以关注是因为市民社会对图书馆建设有着一定的现实指导意义。市民社会推崇平等、自愿、自由、相互尊重的价值观,全民阅读既是市民社会的精神反映,也是信息公正的理想形态。图书馆参与全民阅读活动,将以市民社会的特征为依据,以保障读者权益、实现信息公正为核心内容而展开。The research of civil society is a new theory to explore for the library science, which is a certain practical guide to the development of libraries. Equality, unconstraint, freedom and respect are values of civil society. Nationwide reading is not only image of civil society spirit, but also perfect modality of information fairness. Libraries participating in the activities of nationwide reading will base on the characteristics of civil society and start around safeguarding readers＇ rights and achieving information fairness.
