摘　　要：阐述了当前形势下改革高校图书馆现行服务的必要性与可能性,提出了信息服务新理念的内涵,即改变服务指导思想,完善图书馆计算机化与网络化管理,加强文献信息的检索与咨询服务,加强读者的信息素质教育,积极参与教学活动,更好地为学校教学和科研服务。This paper expounds the necessity and possibility of reforming the existing service of university library under the current situation, puts forward the connotation of the new concept of the information service, which is to change the guiding thought of the service,perfect the library’s computerized and networked management,strengthen the literature information retrieval and consultancy service,improve the readers’ information literacy education,take active part in the teaching activities, and provide the better service for the teaching and scientific research of the university.
