摘　　要：本文通过对公共图书馆本质和功能的分析,说明了公共图书馆在构建社会公共文化服务体系中的重要性。指出图书馆可以通过改进自身服务方式以及实现与其他的文化团体合作两个途径来对原有的公益服务体系进行延伸,提高自身的服务水平,成为构建社会公共文化服务体系的重要力量。By analyzing the essence and function of public library this paper explains the importance of public library In setting up the social public cultural service system, and points out that library can extend the public - spirited service system, raise the service level for oneself and become the important power of the social public cultural service system through two ways to improve the oneself service method and to realize the cooperation with other cultural groups.
