摘　　要：文章阐述了建设攀枝花苏铁特色数据库的意义、方法以及数据库的基本内容和特点。PanZhi hua cycad features database is the first integrated applied database. It adopts the classification by the multimedia and database technology and combines a lot of information and literature works on the process of the PanZhi hua cycad research and its eco - protection. PanZhi hua cycad database provides good consultations for the research institutions and those who works on the cycad and its eco - protection personally. The article centers on the significance and method of the construction of PanZhi hua cycad features database as well as its basic contents and features.
