国外高校的人文科学教育及启示——以英、美、日为例

摘  要:我国高校若干年来形成了重理工轻人文、重专业技能轻综合素质的不良倾向。在国外,学者们则较早地注意到科学(科技)教育与人文教育的割裂与失衡的危机,并对两者的整合提出了许多思路且付诸实践。英、美、日高校的人文教育都经历了"兴盛——衰落——回归"的历程,具有代表性。该文对这三个国家高校人文科学教育的思潮及实践作一概述,以期对我国高等教育改革提供某些借鉴。Universities in China have formed bad tendency of attaching much more importance to science and engineering, professional skills than to the humanities and comprehensive qualities. Abroad, scholars have paid attention to the crisis of unbalance of scientific education and humane education much earlier. What's more, they have raised thoughts of the conformities of both and carried them out. Humane education of universities in Britain, the USA and Japan has experienced the typical process of "prosperity to decline to regression". This paper is trying to outline the trend of thought and practice of humane education in these three countries' universities, so as to afford some advice for education reform of universities in China.
