早熟西瓜新品种豫星3号的选育

摘　　要：豫星3号是以N-8为母本、以H-99为父本配制而成的早熟西瓜一代杂种。全生育期90d(天)左右,果实发育期29d(天)左右;果实高圆形,果形指数1.1,花皮,外观靓丽,果皮厚1cm左右;瓤大红色,中心可溶性固形物含量11.1%,肉质细脆,纤维含量少,口感好;果皮硬度23kg.cm-2,韧性好,适宜长距离运输,单果质量5～7kg,每667m2产量4000kg左右,适宜全国各西瓜主产区种植。Yuxing No. 3 is a new watermelon F1 hybrid developed by crossing N -8 and H -99. It is early maturity. The fruit can be harvested in about 90 days from sowing and about 29 days from flowering. The fruit is global and green background with dark green stripes. The shape index is 1.1. It has a pretty appearance. The central soluble solids content is 11.1%. The flesh is dark red,crisp and few fibrous. The peel is about 1 cm in thickness and 23 kg·cm^-2 in hardness. The fruit is suitable for long distance transportation. The average fruit weight is 5 -7 kg. It yields about 60 kg·cm^-2. It is suitable for cultivation in main production site of watermelon in China.
