摘　　要：将MATLAB与VB结合起来,充分发挥各自的技术优势,研发了城市交通仿真系统,包括路口交通仿真、最佳路径仿真等。利用VB建立仿真界面,提供状态参数,调用MATLAB进行数据运算,再把结果送回以供研究。系统投入运行后会很大程度地提高城市交通的运营质量、可视化程度,促进城市的经济发展。This paper combines MATLAB with VB to bring respective technological superiority into play sufficiently. It has developed the urban traffic simulation system that includes traffic simulation of cross road, best route simulation, etc. And it has described the developing process and working module： to use VB to build simulation interface, provide state parameters, transfer MATLAB for data arithmetic, and send result back for study. The system will improve operation quality and visualization degree of urban traffic, and speed up economy development of city.
