摘 要:在我国各地区经济社会发展过程中,地下水资源所起的支撑作用是有明显差异的。对地下水资源所起的支撑作用进行定量评价,不仅可以直观地测度地下水的重要性,而且能够为水文地质调查宏观部署提供基础依据。通过构建地下水资源支撑度评价指标体系,对我国各省(自治区、直辖市)地下水对经济社会发展的支撑作用进行了初步评价。结果表明:地下水资源支撑度最高的10个省份依次是山西、北京、河北、内蒙古、山东、河南、宁夏、贵州、陕西和辽宁;地下水资源支撑度最低的5个省份是江西、湖南、福建、浙江和上海;从区域来说,地下水资源支撑度最高的是黄淮海地区、鄂尔多斯高原与银川河套平原区、黄土高原东部地区及贵州省,其次是东北地区和西北地区,东南沿海地区最低。根据评价结果,对我国区域水文地质调查宏观部署提出了若干建议。Groundwater contributions to regional economic and social development vary significantly in different regions in China. To evaluate groundwater' s contribution quantitatively is necessary for measuring groundwater' s importance and regional groundwater investigation. This paper developed an index system, "Groundwater Contribution Index (GCI)" which was used to evaluate groundwater' s role in regional econolnic and social development in China. The index system links groundwater dependence with groundwater sustainability to express a quantitative measure of groundwater contributions to the economic and social development in provincial level regions. It includes 8 sub-indices, which are: percentage of groundwater to total water resources, percentage of groundwater use to total agricultural water use, percentage of groundwater use to total industrial water use, percentage of groundwater use to total domestic water use, renewable groundwater resources per capita, renewable groundwater resources per arable land, the ratio of groundwater abstraction to exploitable groundwater resources, percentage of contaminated groundwater to total groundwater coverage. All data required in calculating these sub-indices are easily obtained from government reports or bulletins. Results indicates that top 10 provinces in GCI ranking are Shanxi, Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Henan, Ningxia, Guizhou, Shannxi and bottom 5 provinces in GCI ranking are Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Zhejiang and Shanghai and Liaoning .Regions in GCI rankings are Huanghuaihai Plain, Ordos Plateau and Yinchuan Plain, east Loess Plateau, Guizhou karst areas, northeast China, and northwest China. Based on the results, the paper put forward following suggestions for regional groundwater investigation: 1 ) 1 : 50 000 hydrogeologic investigation should be carried out preferentially in plains and groundwater basins in north China, and top-priority regions should be Haihe plain, Huaihe plain, six groundwater basins in Shanxi province, Hetao
