摘　　要：文章运用主成分分析法和聚类分析法,以1997年和2004年为研究本底年,对全国31个省市区投资环境竞争力进行了动态分析与评估。The paper analyzes competitiveness in investment environment in China's 31 provinces from 1997 to 2004 in a dynamic way and makes an evaluation. The result shows that the competitiveness differs from each other and the main difference in each province lies in soft environment such as economic and social environment. The evolution of the competitiveness can be classified into four kinds, which are steady growth, fast growth, potential growth and slow growth.
