摘　　要：目前,WCDMA系统已有R99、R4、R5三个版本完成了定稿,R5版本有待检验和完善,从未来的技术发展趋势分析,基于R4标准的技术更加完善、更具优势。从电路域和分组域的角度剖析了WCDMA R4的核心网组网方案,展现了在3G网络建设初期核心网的完整解决方案,对运营商实现从2G网络向3G网络的平滑过渡有一定的指导意义。Currently, there are three WCDMA system releases which have final versions, including R99, R4 and R5, among which WCDMA R5 is to be tested and revised while R4 is more matured and has more advantages in technology. This article analysis the networking solutions of WCDMA R4 core network from the aspects of Circuit Domain and Packet Domain, expounds the whole solutions at the early stage of 3G network construction, which can provide some guidance for operators to realize the smoothness transition from 2G to 3G network.
