摘　　要：LED作为一种高效节能的新型照明光源,在城市建筑的景观照明设计中具有广阔的应用前景。文章通过万豪国际金融中心夜景照明方案的设计实践,探讨将现代化的LED照明技术与重庆市深厚的历史文化相结合,创造出新颖、具有时代感、反映地方文化特色的建筑夜景设计作品。The light emitting diode（LED）, a kind of new energy-saving efficient light source, has a bright application future in the field of civic building lighting design. In lighting design of buildings, not only the advancement in lighting technologies such as lamps and lanterns but also the discovery and expression of local culture should be attached more importance to so as to creat the regional lighting design production. By taking the example of the lighting design project of the JW MARRIOTT International Financial Center, the paper presents the process of combining the modern LED illumination technology with the profound history of Chongqing, thereby creating a lighting design production of the tall building which is novel and contemporary and reflects the local cultural feature.
