摘　　要：Windows驱动程序模型(WDM)是Windows平台的新一代设备驱动程序模型。因而分析了WDM的工作原理,并给出USB设备驱动程序的一个设计实例,将USB驱动程序分为即插即用(PnP)、电源管理、USB初始化、USB设备I/O等功能模块;具有结构清晰、易移植、复用性好等优点,在USB驱动程序设计中具有良好的应用价值。WDM is a new generation of device driver based on Windows platform. This paper analyzes the working principle of WDM, gives a demonstration on how to design a USB device driver. The USB driver has been derided into plus and play （PnP）, USB initialization and USB driver I/O. The method has some merits such as clear structure, easily transportable and effective software reuse. It is also useful for USB driver design in practice.
