现代大学社会服务职能的缘起、动因及启示

摘　　要：现代大学的建立既是对传统大学封闭性的批判与否定,又是对传统大学职能的继承和拓展,更是大学史乃至人类发展史上的一场深刻变革。现代大学是经济社会发展的催生儿,是国际高等教育交流与竞争的产物,是政治家、教育家设计并组织建造的"大厦",是由社会公共财富创造的可再生的、可共享的社会资源。重视培育与发挥大学的社会服务功能是我国高等教育高质量、有特色、可持续发展的战略选择。　Modern universities＇ service function criticized and denied the seal of a traditional university,and simultaneity,inherited and expanded the traditional universities＇ function.Modern universities＇ service function resulted from the economic and social development,the intercourse and competition of international higher education,the innovation and reconstruction of crackajack statesmen and educators,and the funding of public finance system.Cultivating and exerting the modern universities＇ service function is the strategic choice of Chinese higher education＇s excellence,characteristic and sustainable development.
