摘　　要：可持续发展作为一种概念和发展战略,已经在世界范围得到了广泛的接受和认可,国内外学者对城市可持续发展进行了多方面的研究和探讨。随着中国城市化进程的加快,城市的可持续发展能力越来越得到重视。本文选择郑州为可持续发展的研究对象,提出了用主成分分析法评价可持续发展能力的评价方法,把研究对象划分为经济子系统、社会子系统和生态子系统,用主成分分析法计算各子系统的可持续发展能力,用主成分分析法进行评价,得出可持续发展能力评价结果。The sustain development, as a kind of concept and development strategy; have already widely accepted by world. The domestic and international scholar make various research and study on the sustain development of city. With the speed process of city urbanization in China, sustain development ability of city was recognized more and more. This paper takes the Zhengzhou sustain development ability as the study object, put forward the principal components analysis as the evaluation means to the Sustain development ability. And carve the object up to economy subsystem, society subsystem and zoology subsystem, and count the Sustain development ability Of each subsystem and than evaluation it by use the means of Principal components analysis. In the end, put forward the evaluation consult of Sustain development ability.
