摘 要:针对当前IPTV直播应用中,集中服务模式对服务器性能和网络设施要求较高、可扩展性较差的问题,提出了一种基于P2P(点对点)技术的直播系统Clear Live。与现有的P2P视频系统只针对PC终端的情况不同,该系统主要面向IPTV应用,面向嵌入式机顶盒终端,并兼容PC终端。Clear Live针对机顶盒终端的特点和IPTV应用的环境做了适当的和针对性的设计。实际系统测试结果表明,Clear Live系统能在较低的硬件配置下为大量用户提供高质量的直播服务。IPTV live streaming systems with client-sever based content delivery infrastructures cannot provide service to mass clients due to their high requirement of server hardware configuration and network bandwidth. This paper presents a P2P(point-to-point) based live streaming system-" Clear Live", which tries to achieve better scalability than client-server based system. While current popular P2P IPTV systems support only PC client, our system mainly supports STB client and is compatible with PC client. "Clear Live" is properly designed according to the characteristic of STB client and application environment of IPTV. The test result of system shows that "Clear Live" can provide high quality live streaming service to vast number of clients with low cost.
